Patrick Rogan

Engineer, physicist

NEW ORLEANS – Services are Sunday for engineer and physicist Patrick Rogan. He died Nov. 10 at age 72.
He co-founded and co-owned Southeast Applied Research, where he invented a patented process for industrial laundry wastewater recycling. He was a deepwater systems engineer for 16 years with Ocean Drilling and Exploration Co., becoming an expert in blowout preventers and controls.
Survivors include several children and step-children.
Arrangements are by Jacob Schoen & Son.

Banker

ZACHARY – Services for rancher, mail carrier and banker Albert Mills, Jr. will be Saturday. He died Nov. 12 at age 100.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was chairman of the board of the Bank of Zachary for more than 30 years.
Survivors include his wife Kathleen, two sons and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Charlet.
