Architect
LAFAYETTE – Services for architect David Perkins will be Thursday. He died Feb. 7 at age 88.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was associated professor of architecture at Southeastern Louisiana University before opening a private practice which operated here for more than 50 years, designing numerous structures on the region’s landscape.
Survivors include his wife Edna and two sons.
Arrangements are by Fountain.

Banker
BATON ROUGE – Services for banker John Kelty will be Thursday. He died Feb. 10 at age 54.
He was president of Chase, Baton Rouge. He was with J.P. Morgan Chase more than 30 years, managing two of its banking groups before taking the Baton Rouge post.
Survivors include his wife Kim, two children and his parents.
Arrangements are by Rabenhorst.
