Harold John Chapman

Harold John Chapman passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016, at the age of 76.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic
Church in Mamou. Fr. Kasper Arulsamy will officiate. Burial will follow at Platin Cemetery in Vidrine.
Harold is survived by his wife, Verline Dupuis Chapman of Vidrine; one daughter, Cheryl C. Rollins and
husband Terrell of Vidrine; four sons, Ricky Chapman and wife Marcie of Richard, Roderick Chapman
and wife Tammy of Eunice, Kevin Chapman and wife Melissa of Krotz Springs, and Brian Chapman and
wife Sabrina of Oakdale; thirteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Chapman and Alma Ardoin Chapman; one sister, Effie
Lejeune; and three brothers, Leroy Chapman, Odell Chatman, and Elvern Chatman.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at
Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Chuck Ortego. The
funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday for visitation until the time of service.
