Jennie Godfrey Tezeno

Visitation hours for Jennie Godfrey Tezeno, 75, will be from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with funeral services following at 11:00 am, both at Word Ministries, 1960 W. Laurel Ave., Eunice, LA on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Reverend Darius Lemelle officiating.
She died at AMG Speciality Hospital in Lafayette, LA at 4:50 am on January 31, 2014.
She was a very faithful and devoted church member. A member of the Senior Usher Board, and Deaconess. A native of Ville Platte and a resident of Eunice, she attended James Stevens High School.
Survivors include: three sons: Allen Godfrey, Donald Godfrey and Johnny Godfrey, Sr., all of Ville Platte; daughter, Martha James (Jessie) of Eunice; three brothers: Cyprien Arclise of Fenton, LA, Allen Arclise of Norfolk, Va., and Howard Arclise of Beaumont, Texas; two sisters: Winnie Thomas of Ville Platte, and Mary Campbell of Eunice; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Tezeno, Sr.; parents, Wilfred Arclise and Joyce Thomas; two sisters, Wilda Allison, and Lula Arclise; and one son, Daniel Godfrey, Sr.
Pallbearers will be: Allen Semien, James Frank, David Richard, Odell James, Jr., Johnny Godfrey, Sr., and Johnny Thomas.
Frank Brothers is in charge of arrangements.
