Velma Deshotel Reed

Velma Deshotel Reed passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the age of 86.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Her grandson, Minister Kenneth Veillon will officiate. Burial will follow in Reed
Cemetery in Lanse Meg.
Velma is survived by one son, Ferrell Reed of Eunice; one daughter, Tina Veillon and husband Kenneth of Eunice; and two grandchildren.
Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Meduse Reed; her parents, Clement Deshotel and Ozia Soileau Deshotel; one brother, Clevance Deshotel; and one sister, Hazely Langley.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday for visitation until the time
of service.
