BATON ROUGE – Services for retired director of the LSU School of Forestry, now the School of Renewable Natural Resources, Paul Burns will be Jan 10. He died Jan. 5 at age 94.
Economics professor
ABBEVILLE – Services for retired economics professor Dr. Walter Primeaux, Jr. will be Jan. 7. He died Jan. 4 at age 86.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He retired from the University of Illinois as Distinguished Professor Emeritus.
Jessica Myers West died on Friday, January 2, 2015 at her home at the age of 36. A Celebration of Life was celebrated at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 4, 2014 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Interment followed in the Mt. Calvary with Pastor Gregory Gaspard officiating.
Indian physician
SHREVEPORT – Services for pioneering Indian physician Dr. Kundan Manocha will be Jan. 10. He died Dec. 21 at age 83.
Mary Beatrice Adaway diedon Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at the age of 86.
No Memorial Services have been scheduled at this time.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Debra Adaway of Basile, and four grandchildren.
