Eunice’s Ndubueze makes All-District

As a sophomore, Brandon Ndubueze was one of the main players for Eunice High head basketball coach Chad Andrepont.
The other District 4-4A coaches also noticed his contributions as Ndubueze was named to the All-Defensive Team.
Beau Chene’s Denzel Austin (16 ppg) was named district MVP, while Albert Hartwell from Washington-Marion was named District Coach of the Year.
Washington-Marion senior Quajae Boutte (13.2 ppg), sophomore Christian Edwards (13.7 ppg) and senior Jeremiah Warren (13.7 ppg) headline the All-District First Team.
Ephriam Price (24 ppg) from LaGrange and Beau Chene’s Julian Tibbs (19 ppg) also earned First Team honors.
Three Opelousas High players lead the All-District Second Team including senior Curly Richard (14 ppg), junior Terrell Lewis (10 pgg) and sophomore Robert Andrus (13 ppg).
LaGrange senior Markel Semien (12 ppg) and sophomore J’son Brooks (16 ppg) were also named to the Second Team along with junior Byron Mouton (10.2 ppg) from Rayne.
Joining Ndubueze on the All-Defensive Team were senior Kaylan Coleman from OHS, Beau Chene senior Datrevan Guilbeau, Crowley junior Jacquo Price, senior Drakkar Broussard from Rayne along with Boutte and Semien.
