Weather halts games

The wintry mix of snow and ice forced the cancellation of the area high school Friday night basketball games.
St. Edmund’s District 5-1A match-up at False River Academy has been rescheduled for Feb. 5.
The Blue Jays will travel to Sacred Heart of Ville Platte on Tuesday night.
St. Edmund will visit Catholic of Pointe Coupee on Friday.
Eunice High’s District 4-4A home game against Crowley has tentatively been reset for Feb. 13.
The Bobcats will visit Beau Chene on Tuesday and travel to Opelousas High on Friday.
