The 2014 All-St. Landry Parish softball team is led by 15 players from Eunice High and St. Edmund, including seven who earned first team honors.
The Notre Dame Pioneers jumped to an early lead and made it hold up in taking a 7-2 victory over the Eunice Bobcats in Acadiana Metro League action Monday evening at Bobcat Field.

Eight Eunice High softball players earned All-District 4-4A honors.
Lady Cat senior second baseman Kailee Lyons won first team honors.
Lyons finished with a .391 BA with 15 RBI.
Kate McLemore and Sadie West were named first team outfielders.
