Tigers end Jays’ season

NATCHITOCHES - The No. 13 Blue Jays fought to keep the game close against the No. 4 Tigers.
St. Edmund was able to battle St. Mary’s for three quarters before the undefeated Tigers broke the game open for a 34-8 win in the opening round of the Division IV playoffs.

Bobcats hold off Mustangs

The Eunice High Bobcats fought to hold on late in the game to claim a 22-18 victory in the opening round of the Class 3A state playoffs.
The number two seeded Bobcats controlled the football for the final 5:24 to earn the win over the number 31 seeded Eleanor McMain High Mustangs.

The fifth- and sixth-grade St. Edmund Blue Jay football team recently won Acadiana Christian Athletic Association’s 2015 Crawfish Bowl Championship.
