Perhaps finances will be a top issue on St. Landry Parish School Board members’ list of priorities for a new superintendent.
The board’s finance committee recently learned student enrollment and health insurance costs are biting into the school system’s budget.
The three candidates left in the running for the St. Landry Parish school superintendent job will have an hour and 20 minutes to make their points.
The field of candidates for the St. Landry Parish school superintendent’s job was cut from five to three in a seven-hour meeting Thursday.
After about one-hour interviews each the final three are Dr. James Gray, Patrick Jenkins and Francis Touchet Jr.
