Colfax police chief faces theft charge

 Police Chief Charles Stickell, 43, is charged with theft and malfeasance in office.

Grant Parish deputies arrested Stickell Wednesday.

A warrant was obtained, Sheriff Steven McCain said, after investigation of a complaint.

The nature of the complaint, who it was by and what it alleged were not released.
