Dry Prong man dies when truck leaves road, rolls over

A 21-year-old Dry Prong man was killed in a weekend traffic accident in Grant Parish.
State police said the driver, Chad G. Chandler, and two of his passengers were ejected from the 2009 GMC pickup in the Sunday morning crash.
Troopers say Chandler was southbound on Grant Parish’s Race Track Road when he lost control of the truck, which exited the right side of the roadway and hit an embankment before overturning. That accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
Chandler was pronounced dead. Four people suffered what police described as moderate injuries in the accident.
