Motorcyle hits tree, rider killed

An Alabama motorcyclist died when his bike hit a tree near here Thursday.
Trooper Scott Moreau said 59-year-old Allen B. Bryan, of Summerdale, Ala., was southbound on a parish road Thursday afternoon when his motorcycle ran off the road and hit a tree.
Moreau say Bryan was pronounced dead at the scene.
