West Monroe mayor seeking 10th 4-year term

Mayor Dave Norris said he will run for a 10th — and final — term this spring.

If Norris, 71, wins and serves out his full term, he will have served 40 years as West Monroe’s mayor.

He was a was a professor at the University of Louisiana at Monroe at the time and continued to teach part-time after elected until he retired from the school in 2003.
