Rayville afternoon ceremony unites Trisler and Turner

Emilee Rae Trisler and Brennan Seth Turner were united in marriage on May 31 at four o’clock in the afternoon.
The wedding was held at the First Baptist Church in Rayville with the father of the bride performing the wedding.
Miss Trisler is the daughter of Kym and Rayland Trisler of Rayville. Mr. Turner is the son of Mindy and Randy Turner of Eunice.
Maternal grandparents of the bride are LaQueeta and Emmett Brown, Jr. and paternal grandparents of the bride are Brenda Trisler, the late Ray Trisler, and the late Barbara Rea.
The groom’s maternal grandparents are Rolan Babineaux and the late Lois Babineaux of Eunice. The paternal grandparents are Jake Turner and the late Lula Mae Turner of Eunice.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The bride’s sister, Kara Grace Trisler served as the maid of honor, and Chris Tucker, a friend of the groom, was the best man.
Other bridesmaids were Lanya Brown, the bride’s cousin, Olivia Morris Trisler, the bride’s sister-in-law; and Sarah Jo Thomason, friend of the bride.
The groomsmen were Trey Turner, the groom’s brother; Stuart Turner, the groom’s brother; Reed Trisler, the bride’s brother; and Jeffrey Burge, friend of the groom.
Flower girls were Lilla Falting and Aubrey Johnson, the bride’s cousins, and the Ring bearer was Tripp Bennett, also a cousin of the bride.
The bride wore a lace mermaid style wedding dress with an all beaded bodice and belt. The skirt was a cascade of organza ruffles with a flowing train. The veil was finger-tip length, trimmed in beads.
She carried a pink and cream tea roses bouquet with crystal adornment and the bridesmaids also carried smaller bouquets of roses. The bridesmaids wore aqua one shoulder tea length dresses and the groomsmen wore taupe suits.
Music was provided by pianist, Ginny Richardson.
A reception immediately followed in the WMU building.
Guests threw heart-shaped designer rice on the departing couple as they left for their honeymoon destination in Atlantis, Bahamas.
The bride is a Louisiana Tech graduate with her master’s degree in Speech Pathology. She is employed by Richland Parish School Board.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Monroe with a Biology degree. He will be entering his third year of Pharmacy school.
The couple plan to live in Monroe and upon his graduation they will make their home in Rayville.
