Acadia sheriff's report

Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon stated that his office is investigating the following incidents:

05/26/11
-Disturbance involving juveniles, Meadows Apartments, Crowley.

-Livestock on roadway, Hwy 751 near Church Point. Animal control contacted.

-Residential burglary, 200 block of Sally Road, Morse.

05/25/11
-Harassing phone calls, 300 block of St Matthew St, Church Point.

-Theft of items, 1100 block of Jardell Road, Morse.

-Domestic assault, 100 block of JW Lane, Rayne. Charges pending.

-Disturbance, 300 block of Stacy Lane, Eunice. Deputies issued a citation for simple battery to Leavin Fusilier, Stacy Lane, Eunice.

-Disturbance, Meadows Apartments, Crowley. No charges.

-Theft of medication from a residence, 5300 block of Mire Hwy, Rayne

-Domestic disturbance & criminal damage to property, Mire Hwy, Duson.

-Domestic disturbance, 700 block of Soldier Road, Rayne.
