201New Year’s Resolutions - Revised checklist! Revised checklist!

By J.H. Campbell Jr. jcampbell@agbr.com

The below list might be helpful in finalizing your resolutions for the New Year ... Happy New Year!
New Year’s Resolution checklist
• Treat every person (including customers and co-workers) as they wish to be treated — with the utmost respect, dignity, and courtesy.
• Remember the 3 R’s: Respect for self; Respect for others; and Responsibility for all of my actions.
• Promote goodwill to all, and handle customer concerns personally with a “sense of urgency” and with the attitude that the customer deserves my complete “attention to detail.”
• Practice productive job behavior by arriving at work on time, and following all rules, even when unsupervised — or in other words: “doing the ‘right thing’ when no one else is watching.”
• Do what should, and needs to, be done to the best of my ability at all times.
• Uphold the standards of morality and business ethics by promoting respect for life (from conception to natural death), and the property and personal rights of others, and avoid the use or possession of any illegal substances or weapons.
• Follow and actively promote all security, safety, and sanitation rules and regulations.
• Uphold the company image through my personal grooming habits, dress, and language.
• Be thankful for what I have (and not what I may have lost, or no longer have or ever had/have).
• Be thankful and appreciative for the freedoms and opportunities that I enjoy in our country, state, and city, and those that I have at work.
• Support all law enforcement and military personnel, and obey, follow, and support all lawful authority.
• Be thankful for the ordained clergy which tend to our spiritual needs every day.
• Care for, and be attentive to, the needs of my family, friends, and associates.
• Remember to forgive, count my blessings, and to be appreciative, and not complain.
• Always try to be of service to another by being a part of the solution, rather than some or all of the problem.
