Thanks for help in getting rid of litter

On behalf of the entire board of Keep Eunice Beautiful, I wish to thank the students of Eunice High School: Lauren Vidrine, Heidi Pitre, Layni Trosclair and Kylie Miller, as well as their teacher Mr. Martel, for their successful Trash-A-Thon this past Saturday.  
As part of the Keep America Beautiful “Great American Clean Up” they did a great job of organizing this event, and Keep Eunice Beautiful was proud to be a sponsor. 
More than 20 volunteers picked up 40 bags of trash in areas around the city that were chosen from the Litter Index done by Keep Eunice Beautiful.  
It is wonderful to see young people taking pride in their community and volunteering their time. 
So thank you again to these students, all the volunteers, teachers, and all the Eunice High students who have been involved in giving back to their community this year.  You set the standard and we are proud of you.
