In a battle for third place in District 4-4A, Rayne exploded for seven runs in the fourth inning to help the Lady Wolves grab a 16-3 win over the Eunice Lady Cats.
After a road trip to Live Oak today, Eunice continues district play at Crowley on Tuesday.
OPELOUSAS – The Eunice High Bobcats scored seven runs over the final two innings to take a 13-4 victory over the Opelousas High Tigers here Tuesday afternoon at Tiger Field.

OPELOUSAS – The Eunice High Bobcats fell just short in their opening game of the season, falling to 8-6 to host Opelousas Catholic on Friday afternoon.
Coach Scott Phillips’ Bobcats scored a run in the top of the first for the early lead off starting pitcher T. J. Venable.
RAYNE – The Eunice High Lady Bobcats rallied to make it interesting late against the Rayne High Lady Wolves here Friday night.
But outscoring the Lady Wolves 27-21 in the second half couldn’t make up for 28-8 differential in the first half as the Lady Cats dropped a 49-35 decision.
