OPELOUSAS – The Eunice High Bobcats scored on five of their six first half possessions on their way to a 48-0 thumping of the Opelousas High Tigers here Friday night at Donald Gardner Stadium.

The Tigers opened the season with a 23-20 win over West St. Mary before back-to-back one-sided losses to Lafayette (40-7) and McKinley (42-0).

The Bobcats are in need of a win before opening district as Eunice High visits St. Martinville on Friday.
It was a close battle last season with the Bobcats grabbing a 12-7 win.
There was plenty of excitement and celebration last Friday as Eunice High head coach Paul Trosclair picked up his 200th career win as the Bobcats rallied for a 28-21 victory over Northwest.
But now the Bobcats need to focus on a huge task at hand as No. 7 Jennings visits Eunice.
