The condition of West Maple Avenue is back on the Eunice Board of Aldermen’s agenda on Tuesday.
The Board is to meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Eunice Municipal Complex, 300 S. 2nd St.
The Eunice city budget for the fiscal year beginning Friday is little changed from this year.
Steven Moosa, CPA, said, “Overall the budget has stayed flat for 2017 compared to 2016.”
There are three options to repair state-owned roads in Eunice, State Rep. Phillip DeVillier, R-Eunice, said at Tuesday’s meeting of the Board of Aldermen.
The Rev. Lloyd Antoine returned to the Eunice Board of Aldermen in a bid to clear the way for the legal operation of golf carts on city streets.
Antoine asked for an ordinance to allow the operation of golf carts about a year ago with no results.
