Arcenio Ned, 23, Eunice, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, aggravated flight, no driver’s license and no motor vehicle insurance.

Darwin Wayne Fontenot, age 34, 450 Harmon Lane, Opelousas, LA, illegal possession of stolen things.
Vedall Ledet, age 19, 292 Bayou Teche Subdivision Road, Opelousas, LA, simple battery involving domestic violence.

St. Edmund Catholic School held its annual Class Night Ceremony for its 2014 graduating class Thursday evening May 15 inside the high school gymnasium.

The Eunice branch of the Department of Motor Vehicles and some other DMV offices around the state are under fire.
The Eunice News reported in November 2013 that sources speculated that the Eunice branch could face closure, as part of the Jindal administration’s budget rimming.
A man driving a stolen car led police on a 100-mph chase early Tuesday before hitting a bridge railing and being arrested.

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
