Eunice woman accused of taking advantage of flooding situation to steal jewelry

A 57-year-old Eunice woman is charged with taking advantage of recent flooding to clean an 87-year-old woman’s house and at the same time helped herself to the woman’s jewelry, a Eunice Police Department arrest affidavit stated.

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
