Three Ville Platte juveniles– who range in ages 14 to 16 – were arrested and charged in a Eunice home invasion.

Some Eunice leaders are not in favor of a new tax to fund a St. Landry Parish Library System as proposed by parish residents who comprise the Library Coalition.
A Mamou man pleaded guilty Feb. 5 to several deer hunting violations and has three months to pay about $9,200 in fines and civil restitution.

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
