Police made the final arrest in a burglary of the Exxon gas station that occurred in August after the last of two suspects returned from New Mexico, where he had been since shortly after the burglary occurred.

One of two drivers charged in a wreck that killed a former Eunice woman and her three children as well as another woman received two years in prison during sentencing Tuesday.
Additionally, Kelsye Hall, 24, received 15 years’ suspended sentence.

Two Opelousas men who allegedly fired a shot in a woman’s car parked at a gasoline pump late one night this month before grabbing her purse and fleeing are charged with various felonies.

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
