Highland Elementary recently celebrated American Education Week by having contests, daily educational readings, teacher interviews, Accelerated reading competitions and a host of other activities. They held a pep rally which included guest speaker, Dr.
The Acadian Baptist Center near Richard hosted an Outdoor Education Team Building Day for Bethel Christian School students. In addition to many outdoor team and trust building exercises, students learned about local wildlife and how to be safe outdoors.
