Eunice Players’ Theatres’ “The Glass Menagerie” continues tonight, Friday and Saturday evening at 7 p.m.
The Arnold Ledoux Library will host Daphne Olivier, a dietitian, who will offer tips on healthy eating during the upcoming holidays. Olivier will speak at 11:30 a.m. in the Louisiana Room of the LeDoux Library on LSU Eunice campus on Nov. 19. The event is free and open to the public.
Jody L. Powell and Travis Fontenot perform a scene from “The Glass Menagerie”, which runs Thursday though Saturday at Eunice Players’ Theatre. The two-act play by Tennessee Williams is known in American theatre as a classic, and one of its most important plays.
In honor of Veterans Day, PO Charles Deitrich-Lipps was invited to Highland Elementary’s third-grade class to share his experiences in the United States Coast Guard. Students enjoyed asking questions and learning about what it takes to keep our country free.
Students at Eunice Elementary paid tribute to veterans Wednesday. The school was decorated with red, white and blue colors theme, and students also made a flag using their handprints. This creativity was placed on a sign outdoors.
