East Elementary recently held a ‘Popsicles In the Park’ event in honor of the third-and fourth-grade students’ hard work with preparation for their upcoming PARCC test.
Under the direction of Brenda Core of Crowley, these Silver Belles received a Gold Medal from Senior Olympics. They competed against other dance teams at the Robicheaux Recreational Center in Lafayette.
St. Landry Homestead located at 840 E. Laurel is the recipient of the Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club’s Business Yard of the Month, presented by volunteer member Lynn Venable.
This week’s Student of the Week is Zion Larue, a sixth-grader at Central Middle School. His parents are Larry Larue and Shayla Harrison.
