This week’s Student of the Week is Jason Bellard, a sophomore at Eunice High School. His father is Kenneth Bellard.
If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would rather live in Kansas because I want to visit one of my closest friends.
On April 29, the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Department met with the St. Edmund Junior High and High School students. The department staff spoke to students about making wise choices concerning DUIs, texting while driving and wearing seat belts. They also gave a detailed safety slide presentation.
St. Edmund Elementary sixth-graders celebrated International Day Friday as part of a year-end social studies project. Their projects were displayed at the Jeanmard Center for judging on appearance, creativity, knowledge and more.
Eunice High School FFA members and officers presented silk floral arrangements to all mothers at Eunice Manor Nursing Home Friday. An anonymous donation was given to Rebecca Berzas, FFA advisor, to be used to purchase flowers and students arranged in vases accented with ribbons.
