Shiloh Kittles takes home Best Actress Irving Award
Shiloh Kittles, 13, took home the Best Actress award during the annual Eunice Players’ Irving Awards. Kittles portrayed the character of Anne Frank in the play of “The Diary of Anne Frank.”
Anne’s father, Otto Frank, was portrayed by Kittles father John D. Kittles.
A retreat during Catholic School Week at OMP
The fifth- through eighth-grade students of OMP (Our Mother of Peace) in Church Point participated in a retreat on Monday, Jan. 26 to kick off Catholic Schools Week. The focus of the retreat was on the Passion of Christ and adoration of the Eucharist.
EHS students raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Eunice High School students raised $1,355 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society during the week of Feb. 2-6 by hosting a Penny War. During a Penny War, the value of pennies collected by a group count positively, while the value of other coins or dollar bills is subtracted.
