St. Edmund Elementary second graders in Mary Joubert’s class went on a field trip to the Jean Lafitte Prairie Acadian Cultural Center. Park Ranger Angelle Bellard read a story, students enjoyed a craft activity, a scavenger hunt and a tour of the center.
Ajyh Johnson, seated, a 2016 Eunice High graduate and one of the school’s historians, received a scholarship check from the Satellite Civic Club of Eunice. The civic club has had the honor and privilege of giving to a EHS graduate for the past 15 or 20 years now.

Among the top awards given during St. Edmund High Academic Pep Rally held May 3 was the Senior Legacy project winner.
John Hansen Fruge was named the winner of Senior Legacy project. Fruge was among nine top finalists.
