The home of Brittney Fontenot located at 1011 Alida St. was presented the Eunice Bulb and Blossom Garden Club marker of Residential Yard of the Week the week of May 23 by volunteer member Lynn Pavich.
Twenty men from First Baptist Church in Eunice spent the morning of May 21 at Eunice Circle Park as a Men’s Community Work Day. Under the leadership of Lennie Boulet, the men pressure washed, mowed grass, weeded, trimmed trees, mended fence and painted swing sets.

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday, now at the Ruby’s Courtyard and Dancehall due to repairs at Liberty Center, at 6 p.m. will present a performance by Donny Broussard and the Louisiana Stars.
Doors open at 5 p.m., and show starts at 6 p.m.

St. Edmund High School held its Senior Awards Night May 19 where seniors received academic awards, scholarships, honors and recognition.
The program began with the traditional school’s “Passing of the Candle,” with the senior class president Caroline Fontenot.
