Members of the National Association of University Women celebrated its 27th anniversary of the Acadiana Area Founders’ Day on Feb. 28 in Eunice, hosted by members of the Eunice branch NAUW.

The Eunice Country Club grounds will feature five new crape myrtles as Arbor Day was recognized Friday morning by Dixie Saucier, right. Saucier is a member of Eunice Country Club and on the board of directors. Left is Keith Jacobs, grounds keeper at the Eunice Country Club.

Eunice High seniors Amberly Langley and Elizabeth Mire sponsored a senior project “Tab Wars” from Feb. 29-March 4, where they collected soda tabs, with all profits donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
