Recently the American Legion Eunice Post 129 recognized and honored Aaron Bergeron, son of Willie Bergeron, and grandson to the late Jessie Bergeron, for his upcoming enlistment into the United States Marine Corps. Aaron will be leaving for boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina, in mid-May.
Acadiana Repertory Theatre will present The On Stage Theatre Project Semi Final Round on Saturday at 7 p.m. at The Eunice Community Art House, located at 213 South Second Street in Eunice.

Eunice High School senior Devon Mire held a pet adoption for Second Chance Pet Adoption program for his senior community service project on March 13. Mire said, “Animals were picked up from a rescue center and all were adopted, except for one cat, which was returned.
Glendale Elementary fourth-grade students had the opportunity to experience their two-week lesson on Greece by dressing the part, dining on Greek foods, and a photo-booth with Greek decorations on March 18.
