If a bill before the Louisiana Senate becomes law, cities or parishes which utilize cameras to catch motorist running red lights will be required to post visible warning signs wherever the inconspicuous cameras are present.

The Senate Committee on Education, wrangling with a half dozen bills April 7 designed to transform the TOPS scholarship program, landed on one that unhooks the scholarships from tuition costs.
The Louisiana House of Representatives unanimously passed a bill giving Louisiana schools districts the authority to require that one coach in each of the sports offered at high schools be certified in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.
Community Garden open hour Tuesdays
The Eunice Community Garden has scheduled open hours from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays to allow the community to learn about the opportunity to garden in a community setting.
