Oak preservation marks medical office location

What you see resting upon two acres, graced with large oak trees, located between the Purple Peacock and Ardoin’s Marble Works on East Laurel Avenue, is opened to the public.

The images were awful — people stranded on rooftops painted with the words ‘Help,’ dead in lawn chairs in front of the other Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and others floating in the floodwaters.
