UL B.I. Moody III College professor receives teaching excellence award

Curtis Matherne, management professor in the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, was recently awarded the 2015 John T. and Sandra B. Landry Endowed Award for Teaching Excellence at the college’s 57th annual Awards Banquet.
The annual award recognizes a professor, selected based on student evaluations and senior exit survey comments, as the outstanding teacher in the college.
John T. and Sandra Landry of Abbeville established the endowment in 1991 to annually honor, and give recognition to, the top teacher in the Moody College of Business Administration.
In addition to a recognition plaque, the recipient receives a check for $1000 from the endowment.

Two citations were issued Thursday for railroad-related violation Thursday during a Crossing Accident Reduction Enforcement effort in Eunice, a news release from St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz stated.
