Tractor Supply Company will host a soft opening for its new store on U.S. 190 West in Eunice at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Fugitive Theobegi Levier was spotted Tuesday at the apartment complex where his girlfriend lives but eluded a host of officers dispatched to the scene and remains at large.
Levier is wanted for attempted first degree murder in a Eunice narcotics deal gone awry on Saturday night.
No injuries were reported after an 18 wheeler hauling rice flipped on U.S. Hwy. 190 just past Wayne's Grocery east of Eunice.
The driver was attempting to turn west onto the roadway from La. Hwy. 95.
Theobegi Levier: Shooting suspect considered by police as armed and dangerous.
Police are looking for the suspected shooter in a Saturday night dope deal gone bad.
Theobegi Levier is wanted for attempted first degree murder. The alleged victim was shot in the neck, treated at a hospital and released.
