This is presented annually as a welcome to the visitors of our fair city who are here for the Mardi Gras festivities:
Huey Francois of Eunice samples dishes at the 5th annual Eunice Community Health Center's Taster's Choice event. About 400 tasters sampled dishes like king cake, boudin king cake, tasso and crawfish bisque, jambalaya and peanut butter chocolate cake.
Chef’s lips were zipped, but tasters’ mouths were in full motion at the Eunice Community Health Center’s Taster’s Choice event Thursday night.
Mayor Rusty Moody has asked the City Council to consider setting new operating hours for parks and City Lake.
The council at its meeting Tuesday night accepted an ordinance for introduction and will hold a public hearing on the topic next month. Moody was absent.
The Department of Motor Vehicles Eunice office at 3rd & Park will be closed Friday.
The closure will allow DMV to move to new quarters in the former Guillory Developmental Center building at 2101West Ash.
DMV will re-open in its refurbished facilities on Monday.
