Fund for Baton Rouge officers, families is open for contributions

Community Foundation of Acadiana has received over $11,000 to its In the Line of Duty Fund in response to the tragic July 17 shooting of six Baton Rouge Police officers. Donations are tax-deductible and 100 percet of all contributions will be given to those officers and their families.

When the idea for the LSU AgCenter Food Incubator was first hatched in 2012, Louisiana had no facility where people who wanted to pursue the daunting journey of starting a food business could go for expert advice and production equipment.
