LSU Eunice has launched its inaugural pharmacy technician class with five students on its campus and eight others at LSU Alexandria.
The class instructors are Eunice pharmacists Aurdie Bellard and Charles Feucht.

LSUE’s fall enrollment may have grown by 8 percent to about 2,700 students, but the growth evidently wasn’t anticipated for Bengal Village.
Bengal Village was overbooked, Van Reed, director of public relations, said.
An audit by the state Legislative Auditor includes only one finding, which there are not enough segregation of duties over the receipt, deposit and recording of cash receipts.
Kimberly Russell, chancellor, agreed with the finding and said a corrective action plan will begin Monday.

The Diocese of Lafayette plans to raise $42.5 million during its Centennial Campaign: Building Our Future Together, a multifaceted fundraising initiative aimed to meet the needs of the Diocese.
The diocese observes its 100th anniversary in 2018.
LSUE Chancellor Kimberly Russell said the campus has a goal to increase enrollment by 10 percent in the fall semester.
“We were at 2,500 last fall and we are hoping for about 2,750 this fall,” she told Eunice Rotary Club members Wednesday.
