John 'Soupee' Courville, Sr.

 John "Soupee" Clyde Courville, Sr., 75,  died on Friday, November 08, 2013 at 8:41 am at Savoy Care Center in Mamou. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou with Father Mark Melancon Celebrant.
Survivors include his hildren, John Clyde “Pete” Courville, Jr. of Reddell, Shannon Marie Courville and husband, Anthony Rougeau of Mamou; two step-daughters, Audrey LeDoux and husband, Larry of St. Landry, and Juanita Castille of Lawtell; sisters, Agnes Ashford of Basile, Ruth Rawls of Baton Rouge, Elaine Guillory of Eunice, and Joann Sittig Augustine of Bradenton, Fla.; ten grandchildren, Brandon, Chase, Logan, Toni, Bryant, Joshua, Erica, Anthony, Sarah, and Calvin; and 16 great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Genora Young Courville and Cookie Courville; parents,Yeves Courville and Bell Bellow; sister, Norma Jean Koshaba.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am on Wednesday.
