EUNICE~ With deepest sorrow the family announces the passing of Jacqueline Marie Lyons on Wednesday, May 07, 2014 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 52. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, May 09, 2014 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice.
Damian Anthony Daigle died on Friday, May 02, 2014 in Houston at the age of 36. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at New Hope Fellowship in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Woody Gunnels officiating.

BATON ROUGE – Services for retired contractor Aubrey “Buck” Barber, Jr. will be Thursday. He died May 6 at age 77.
He was president and CEO of Barber Brothers Contracting and a past director of Fidelity National Bank.
Geology professor
MONROE – Services for retired geology professor Dr. Leonard Young will be Wednesday. He died May 3 at age 78.
He was a professor of geology at UL-Monroe for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife Mary.
Arrangements are by Kilpatrick.
Political science professor
LAFAYETTE – Services for political science professor and former radio news director David Milner will be Tuesday. He died May 2 at age 72.
