BATON ROUGE – Services for long-time LSU football broadcaster Walter Hill will be Friday. He died April 19 at age 85.
Donald Ray Dischler, Sr., died on Sunday, April 20, 2014, at the age of 85. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014, at St. Louis Cemetery. Pastor Dennis Gotreaux will officiate. Time is pending.
Cell biologist, educator
NEW ORLEANS – Services will be Saturday for internationally recognized cell biologist and historian of science and medicine Dr. Frederick Kasten. He died April 14 at age 87.
Long-time alderman
JEANERETTE – Services are Wednesday for former city alderman Junius Legnon. He died April 14 at age 88.
Lawrence Clyde Cart, Sr. died on Tuesday April 15, 2014 at the age of 79. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery.
