Former legislator, judge
MANY – Services for former legislator and judge John S. Pickett, Jr. were Friday. He died Feb. 5 at age 93.
James Keith Marlin Hannon died on Thursday February 6, 2014 at the age of 67.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday February 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Bishop Doug Deshotel will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Calvin “Mug” James Briscoe died Friday, February 07, 2014 at Eunice Manor at the age of 59. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Sunday at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Elton. Entombment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum with Deacon John Eaves officiating.

CHENEYVILLE – Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Eunice's St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church for noted rice farmer Austin “Will” Bollich. He died Feb. 5 at age 80.
Tulane business professor
NEW ORLEANS – Services for Tulane business professor Dr. Lesley Baker will be Saturday. She died at age 69.
She was on the faculty of Tulane’s Freeman School of Business for more than 20 years
Survivors include her mother and two children.
