The LSU Eunice softball team grabbed a pair of wins against visiting Northeast Texas Community College on Saturday afternoon, winning game one 10-0 before a 7-5 victory in the second contest to give head coach Andy Lee his 400th career win.
The final score was in doubt until the last out, but Sacred Heart of Ville Platte grabbed a 6-5 win on Thursday to spoil St. Edmund’s Senior Night.
“They have been leaders for me and I have really enjoyed this group,” second-year head coach Ashley Ray said.
The LSU Eunice softball team split a midweek doubleheader on the road against LSU Alexandria Wednesday afternoon, losing game one 9-8 to snap their 28-game winning streak before bouncing back with a 2-0 victory in the second game.
