The clinic was filled with an enthusiastic group of LSU Eunice athletes busy chatting about their upcoming school year.
But there was also a group of medical professionals busy doing more serious work of screening the athletes Wednesday night at Rehab Xcel.

The lineup for the ninth annual Eunice High Alumni softball tournament has been set with 29 teams.
The tournament begins at 6 p.m. Friday at the Eunice Recreation Complex on Sittig Road.
The Rookie League is divided into two groups.

But then add full football equipment in the middle of the afternoon and the situation becomes even more serious for those on the practice fields.
CHURCH POINT –With six victories this upcoming season, the Church Point seniors will be the winningest class in the history of Fighting Bears football.
Only six returning starters will lead the way, but head coach John Craig Arceneaux is confident the rest of the team will follow.
