The 200th-career victory pinnacle that Eunice High head football coach Paul Trosclair reached last season is one few coaches in St. Landry Parish have achieved.
The Eunice Bobcats and St. Edmund Blue Jays have benefited from hosting the Joe Nagata Memorial jamboree for the past to seasons.
This year promises to be even better with Sacred Heart of Ville Platte and the Notre Dame junior varsity joining in on the festivities.
The Eunice Bobcats move down to Class 3-A this fall, while two familar faces join St. Edmund’s district.
Eunice (4-6, 2-4 in 2014) will rejoin district rivalries with Church Point and Northwest.
The local high school football landscape will look different this fall than the last two seasons.
