Experience Louisiana Festival meets with success

Up to 6,000 people attended the second annual Experience Louisiana Festival on the LSUE campus Saturday and Sunday, according to Dwight Jodon, one of the Eunice Club organizers.
“Really good weekend,” he said even noting the exceptional weather.

Mowata native Tom Coleman is to spin a tale or two at the Experience Louisiana Festival as a visiting artist at the Artist Village Stage.
Coleman, a 1971 graduate of Eunice High School, is scheduled to tell his stories beginning at 12:50 p.m. Oct. 23.

Parking fee is major change for festival’s second year

Experience Louisiana Festival organizers said a $5 per vehicle parking fee is one of the major changes for this year’s event scheduled Oct. 22 and 23 on the LSUE campus.
